• Working on cross border finance transactions
  
• Handling/managing own caseload of transactions with minimal partner supervision
• Review and commenting on transaction documents from Cyprus law perspective
• Advising on Cyprus law matters of a transaction, in particular relating to Companies Law and Contract Law
• Drafting/negotiating security documents such as pledges and debentures and other charges
• Providing legal opinions
• Undertaking due diligence on Cypriot entities
• Drafting/reviewing corporate resolutions and POAs
• Arranging/attending to registration of charges
• Liaising with Cypriot counterparties and external counsel
• Liaising with Cyprus Registrar of Companies and other governmental authorities
• Collecting CPs
• Issuing/chasing fee notes relating to individual transactions

Ideal candidate profile:

• Senior Associate  / lawyer
• Law degree/qualification and strong interest in law
• Exposure to corporate and commercial law
• Specialisation in banking and finance
• Particularly cross border finance transactions
• Handling own caseload with minimal partner supervision
• Working on blue-chip deals with high profile clients
• Fluent in English
• Strong team working and collaboration skills
• Supervising and mentoring others
• Computer literate – Microsoft office/excel
• Good communication skills
• Fostering client relationships
• Business development and marketing
• Commercial awareness and business perspective
• Sector knowledge and industry experience
• Aware of emerging markets
