PANAYIOTIS NEOCLEOUS was born in Limassol, Cyprus.

Panayiotis graduated in law from Bristol University in 1994. He is a barrister of the Inner Temple.  In 1995 he was admitted to the Cyprus Bar. In 2000 Panayiotis became a partner in Andreas Neocleous & Co. At the present moment Panayiotis is a head of the shipping department and of litigation team 3. He is the Cyprus representative of Fraudnet, an initiative of the International Chamber of Commerce that aims to become the world’s leading network of law firms specialising in white collar crime.

Main areas of practice: Admiralty and shipping law, company law and international trade law, shareholders’ disputes and Mareva injunctions.

Publications: Panayiotis is the author of the Cyprus chapters of "International Agency and Distribution Law" published by Matthew Bender, (1996) and by Sweet & Maxwell, (2003); "Dispute Resolution Handbook 2005/06" published by Practical Law Company. He has also contributed a number of articles to leading publications, including "Maritime Liens and Ranking of Priorities According to Cyprus Law" in International Journal of Shipping Law, (1999); "Cyprus: Forum non conveniens in the European era" and "Cyprus: Company law - corporate governance" in International Company and Commercial Law Review, (2005).  He is a co-author of "Introduction to Cyprus Law" by Andreas Neocleous & Co, (2000).
