COSTAS STAMATIOU was born in Limassol, Cyprus.
Costas Stamatiou graduated in law from the
University of
Wales,
Cardiff in 2001 and obtained a Master’s degree in
Legal Aspects of Marine Affairs from there in 2002 and a Master’s degree in European
Legal Studies from
Bristol University in 2003. He was admitted to the Cyprus Bar in 2004. He was appointed as a member of the shipping committee of the
Cyprus Bar Association in 2009.
Main areas of practice: Admiralty and shipping, commercial law and international trade.
