Shipping – United Nations resolutions and sanctions against Iran and DR Congo

The Cyprus Department of Merchant Shipping (“DMS”) has issued circulars notifying shipowners, managers and representatives of ships under the Cyprus flag, or under a foreign flag calling at a Cyprus port, of United Nations measures regarding Iran and the Democratic Republic of Congo and their implications as regards shipping under orders issued under the Cyprus Ships (Prohibition of Transportation) Laws 1966-1971.
