Maria Kyriacou to speak at 'Russia and Cyprus: Lessons from the Crisis and Prospects for Cooperation' conference

Maria Kyriacou, head of our firm's Nicosia office, will be among a distinguished panel of speakers at the "Russia and Cyprus: Lessons from the Crisis and Prospects for Cooperation" conference on 27 April. The conference, which will take place on 27 April at the Intercontinental Moscow Tverskaya Hotel, is organised by Vedomosti, Russia’s most respected daily business newspaper. Launched in 1999, Vedomosti is a joint venture between the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal and Russia's largest publishing organisation. The conference is supported by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Cyprus-Russian Business Association and other speakers include the Cyprus Minister of Finance and the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Russian Federation.

The conference is expected to attract an audience of more than 150 Russian business leaders, including managers of major Russian companies and private equity funds, investment cooperation directors and executives, representatives of the Russian banking community and energy sector, analysts, consultants and Russian government, ministry and agency officials.

Maria will be speaking on the legal mechanisms available to protect the interests of investors in Cyprus.
