Philippos Aristotelous speaks at Offshore Investment Conference Cyprus 2016

Specialist tax and trusts partner Philippos Aristotelous was one of the expert speakers at the second annual Offshore Investment Conference Cyprus, which took place on Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 November at the Amathus Beach Hotel in Limassol.
The conference brought together leading experts from Cyprus and overseas to identify the essential drivers and navigate future trends in managing and structuring global wealth and international business through Cyprus, one of the most attractive locations in the world for international business and an influential gateway for global transactions. It provided delegates with a multi-jurisdictional perspective on tax and trust law, a global understanding of macro-economics and capital markets, and an analysis of significant regulatory and compliance considerations, giving them the necessary tools to advise international clients.
Philippos analysed the topic of Cyprus international trusts and their benefits. In an age where secrecy is dead and confidentiality is under threat, Philippos explained that Cyprus continues to offer vital safeguards to investors. He described the key strategies for protecting a client’s assets, especially in the new international climate of regulation and information exchange, identified innovative structures that are emerging and offered predictions on new ideas and markets which should guide clients in their choices.
